Lietkabelis guard Williams named February MVP

Lorenzo Williams of Lietkabelis had his best stretch of the season in the Betsafe LKL over the month of February and went on to be named Player of the Month.

The 33-year-old point guard averaged 18.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.5 steals, while committing just a single turnover in the two games he played, combined.

He had a particularly good game in a 94-83 win over Siauliai, collecting a season-high 24 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals for an efficiency index of 34.

Lietkabelis also won the other game the team played in February, defeating Nevezis 82-72.

Laurynas Birutis of Siauliai, Pieno Zvaigzdes guard Trevon Hughes, Edgaras Ulanovas of Zalgiris and Lietuvos Rytas big man Trevis Peterson were all also featured on the Team of the Week.
