Neptunas overpower Dzukija inside to move to 3-1

Neptunas survived a down-to-the-wire drama in Alytus to move to a 3-1 record in the Betsafe LKL, holding off the Kendrick Brown-led Dzukija for a 94-91 victory away from home on Thursday.

Jerai Grant paced the visitors from Klaipeda with a team-high 17 points and 6 rebounds, Gytis Masiulis had 14 points and 11 rebounds with a pair of blocks, while fellow Neptunas big man Simas Galdikas chipped in with 13 points on a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and 7-of-7 from the free-throw line.

For Dzukija, who dropped to 1-2, Kendrick Brown led all scorers with 26 points and 7 assists, while Egidijus Dimsa and Dominykas Domarkas added 17 and 13 points, respectively.
