Kidy Tour announced as general sponsor of King Mindaugas Cup

The league office announced a new partnership for the King Mindaugas Cup, teaming up with international holiday travel organizer Kidy Tour once again.

"We are exceptionally happy to have Kidy Tour on board again, having already shown that together we can make a basketball tournament a great event. The 2016 tournament in Vilnius was named the Sports Event of the Year," said LKL General Director Romualdas Brazauskas.

The new partners will help to implement a major makeover for the Final Four, set to take place at the Siemens Arena in Vilnius on February 16-17 by replacing the current video cube with a screen four times its size.

"We are happy to be able to play a role in organizing the King Mindaugas Cup. It's a great sports event that always draws a lot of interest from basketball fans and it will be even more impressive this year," said Kidy Tour Director Gvidas Aukstuolis.

Hoping to repeat as winners for the third year in a row, Zalgiris lifted the King Mindaugas Cup title in 2017 and 2018, while Rytas have one triumph under their belt in 2016.
