Bowen named Betsafe LKL Player of the Week

Cedrick Bowen of Siauliai was named the Betsafe LKL Player of the Week after helping the Antanas Sireika-coach side rise from bottom of the league table with a come-from-behind win against Skycop Prienai.

Siauliai found a way back into the game despite trailing by as many as 24 points at one point, coming away with a 90-84 victory to improve to a 5-19 record and leapfrog Nevezis.

In his best game for the club, Bowen had 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting, 6 steals, 4 rebounds and 2 assists en route to an efficiency mark of 26, the best among winning teams.

Joining him on the Team of the Week, Paulius Valinskas of Lietkabelis and Martynas Varnas of Nevezis make up the backcourt, with Zygimantas Skucas of Pieno Zvaigzdes and Kerem Kanter of Dzukija filling the front court spot.
