The defending Betsafe LKL champions Zalgiris will enter the Play-Offs having finished the Regular Season with a 32-4 record, beating the visiting Rytas 91-75 on Sunday to put a knot on the first part of the campaign.
Having broken the contest in their favor in the second quarter with a partial score of 32-13, the title-holders from Kaunas maintained a safe distance from the guests in the second half to inscribe yet another win.
Brandon Davies was the go-to man for the Sarunas Jasikevicius-coached side with 19 points, Edgaras Ulanovas scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Nate Wolters chipped in with 11 points.
Meanwhile, Martynas Echodas finished the game with 18 points and 9 rebounds for Rytas, Derek Needham and Artsiom Parakhouski adding 16 and 12 points, respectively.
As the top-seeded team in the Regular Season, Zalgiris will take on the eight-ranked Dzukija in the best-of-three Quarter-Finals, with the third-placed Rytas battling Juventus, who finished sixth.
