Neptunas one step away from bronze after winning in Panevezys

Neptunas are just one win away from capturing bronze in the Betsafe LKL after defeating Lietkabelis 88-75 in Game 2 of the Third-Place series on the road in Panevezys on Wednesday.

Kazys Maksvytis and his players increased their lead to 2-0, wasting a 16-point lead but rebounding nicely in the last quarter to seal a win away from home.

Lorenzo Williams provided the fuel for Neptunas with 18 points and 6 assists, Deividas Gailius double-doubled with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Laimonas Kisielius added 11 points.

Also in double figures, Tomas Delininkaitis and Gytis Masiulis had 10 points apiece in a victorious outing.

For Lietkabelis, Paulius Valinskas registered a team-high 18 points and 3 steals, Marko Cakarevic put together a 14-point performance, while Jamar Wilson complemented his 11 points with 5 assists.
