Lietkabelis extends partnership with coach Čanak
Lietkabelis Panevezys started building the team by extending contract with head coach Nenad Čanak for another season.
“We are happy to extend contract as Nenad met our expectations”, said club president Alvydas Bieliauskas in a statement. “We are happy with coach philosophy. Nenad will be active in looking for new players this summer and we will have competitive team.”
Čanak, age 43, became the head coach for Lietkabelis last November. Under coach Čanak, Lietkabelis won bronze in King Mindaugas Cup and finished fourth in Betsafe LKL.
Lietkabelis has contract with Vytenis Lipkevičius only. Lipkevičius, 30, signed two years deal last summer but was loaned to Skycop Prienai last season.
