Marius Grigonis signed a contract extension with Zalgiris

Marius Grigonis decided to put a signature on a new Zalgiris Kaunas deal. Shooting guard already decided back in April about his future.

Grigonis signed a new contract with Zalgiris until 2022 summer. The first deal between Grigonis and Zalgiris were signed until the end of 2020-21 season. 

"There were a lot of talks back in April but there was not any offers. There are a lot of things happening that even I do not know. I told my agent not to speak with me about the rumors, only when there is an actual offer. There are always talks but I need a lot better season in order to leave Zalgiris", told Grigonis.

"I have a lot to prove in Zalgiris. I am really happy that I signed a contract extansion and I am staying here. It was an easy decision to stay in Kaunas."

Last season Grigonis averaged 9,5 points, 3 rebounds and 2,3 assists per game in Betsafe LKL.
