Zalgiris came back from 15 points deficit, Pieno zvaigzdes survived closed game in Alytus

Betsafe LKL derby ended up with another Zalgiris Kaunas victory. Lithuanian champions were down by 15 points at one point but managed to come up on top 78:72 against Rytas Vilnius.

Rytas were in the lead 25:10 in the first period but before the halftime Zalgiris came back - 37:42.

Although, Rytas build up double digit lead again in the third quarter (53:43) but could not keep it either. Zalgiris took the lead right before the last period 63:62.

Kaunas' side made a run 9:0 in the fourth quarter and took the control of the game.

Arturas Milaknis made all of his four three pointers and was the top scorer with 14 points for Zalgiris. Eimantas Bendzius scored 17 points for Rytas.

Pieno zvaigzdes Pasvalys had 11 points lead with three minutes to go but blew it and survived only because of the missed shot by Adrian Bowie.

Pieno zvaigzdes 75:74 defeated Sintek-Dzukija Alytus and recorded second straight win.

Sintek-Dzukija finished the game with 10:0 run but in the last possession Chauncey Collins lost the ball and even though Bowie recovered it, guard missed the game winning shot from mid-range.
