Zalgiris escaped shocking first loss of the season 

Zalgiris Kaunas had to work for the win like they never did this season. Betsafe LKL champions had double digit deficit but after a tough battle 86:80 defeated Siauliai.

Siauliai ran away in the first quarter 21:11 and stayed in front for the entire first half (46:43).

Kaunas' side started the second half with a lot more concentration and had a six points lead before the last period (66:60). Although, Siauliai did not just give up and took the lead with four minutes to go after Akeem Wright's three pointer with a foul (75:72). 

Although, Zalgiris looked better at the most important time and took the win.

KC Rivers scored 22 points for the winners, while Rokas Gustys scored 22 for the visitors.
