Jock Landale qualified to the Three-Point Contest

Zalgiris Kaunas big man Jock Landale is the best shooter in the Betsafe LKL so far. Even though Australian does not shoot that often, he is the most accurate sharpshooter in the league.

Landale is the leading shooter after the first half of the season and this allowed center to qualify to Betsafe LKL Three-Point Contest that will take place in Citadele King Mindaugas cup final four. It will be held on 16th of February, right before the final.

Landale made 11 threes out of 23 (47,8%) and overtook his teammate Rokas Jokubaitis on the last game of the first half of the season. Youngster shot 47,6% from downtown (10/21).

Jokubaitis dropped because he made one three pointer out of five in the last game against Nevezis Kedainiai, while Landale hit his only attempt. 

Martynas Gecevicius became the Three-Point Contest champion last season. Although, Gecevicius is not playing in Betsafe LKL anymore, so there will be a new champion.
