Zalgiris defeated Rytas for the 13th time in a row

Zalgiris Kaunas keeps dominating against their biggest rivals. Zalgiris 71:61 defeated Rytas Vilnius and celebrated third win this season against last year's Betsafe LKL runner-ups.

It was 13th win in a row for Zalgiris in Betsafe LKL against Rytas.

Zalgiris were behind after the first period 10:14 but dominated in the second and had a double digit lead after the first half - 36:24.

Rytas cut their deficit to five points in the fourth quarter (55:60) but Zalgiris did not allow visitors to come any closer.

Thomas Walkup was close to double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds. He also dished five assists.

18-years-old Marek Blazevic had a game of the season with 18 points. Centre was the top scorer for Rytas.
