Zalgiris advances to the King Mindaugas Cup Final

Zalgiris Kaunas struggled in the first half but improved in the second and defeated Lietkabelis Panevezys 82:72 in King Mindaugas Cup Semi-Final.

Zalgiris will face Neptunas Klaipeda and Rytas Vilnius pair winner. Zalgiris have not missed any single King Mindaugas Cup final. 

Zalgiris started the game with 11:2 run but Lietkabelis answered back with a run of their own (24:6). Lietkabelis had seven points lead in the second quarter 26:19.

Although, Zalgiris tied the game before the end of the first half and ran away in the second.  Zalgiris won third quarter 27:14 and advanced to the another final.

Edgaras Ulanovas scored 17 points for the winners while Zeljko Sakic scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds for Lietkabelis.

Lietkabelis will face the loser of Neptunas and Rytas pair tomorrow in Klaipeda in a game for the third place.
