Amateur basketball player Šegžda shines in the 3-Point Contest, nears victory in the final

Midway through the finals day of the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (Citadele KMT), Nevėžis-Optibet forward Rihards Kuksiks won the 3-point Contest.

A 22-point performance in the final separated him from amateur basketball player Antanas Šegžda who scored 18 points.

Šegžda, who became a 3-Point contest guest after winning fans contest „One Shot 22“, shined and managed to eliminate Evaldas Šaulys and Martynas Gecevičius in the semifinal.

Eimantas Stankevičius, Mindaugas Lukauskis, Karolis Lukošiūnas, Arnas Beručka, Lukas Uleckas, Tahj Eaddy, Karolis Giedraitis and Nojus Mineikis fell short in the preliminary round.
