Rytas suffers shock loss, Žalgiris has no problem in Panevėžys
The defending Betsafe-LKL champions Rytas Vilnius suffered their first loss of the new season. Nevėžis-Optibet Kėdainiai got the 92:88 win over Rytas on the road in the biggest upset of this season so far. Artūrs Žagars had 21 points for the winning side.
Žalgiris Kaunas had a convincing display in Panevėžys and got their fourth straight win. Powered by Keenan Evans and Karolis Lukošiūnas, Žalgiris topped Lietkabelis 74:66. Kristian Kullamae had a game-high 19 points for Lietkabelis.
Cbet Jonava also extended their unbeaten run and became the first team to defeat Wolves. Jeffery Garrett provided 16 points as Virginijus Šeškus team easily defeated Rimas Kurtinaitis team 80:62. Cbet got their fourth win by beating Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys on the road 92:90.
Šiauliai managed to get their first wins of the season by surviving against Gargždai on the road 78:76 and Labas GAS Prienai at home 97:89. Donatas Sabeckis led the way in both matches by scoring 15 and 21 points, also adding 9 assists in each game.
Justin Alston erupted for 28 points as Uniclub Casino - Juventus Utena crushed Neptūnas Klaipėda at home 95:77 to get their first victory. Neptūnas, Labas GAS and Gargždai remain the only teams that still struggle to find the way to the first win of their own.
