Finals Matchups Confirmed

The stage is set for Finals. On Wednesday evening, Juventus Utena secured a 3–1 semifinal series victory over Neptūnas Klaipėda, punching their ticket to the championship series and locking in this season's final matchups.

In the grand final, defending champions Žalgiris Kaunas will face a Juventus squad making its historic first-ever appearance at this stage. Žalgiris will hold home-court advantage in the best-of-five series.

Juventus has already etched its name into the history books by becoming the first No. 7 seed ever to reach the LKL Finals. Previously, the lowest-seeded team to advance this far had finished fourth in the regular season. Meanwhile, Žalgiris swept all four regular-season meetings between the clubs, winning by an average margin of 18 points.

Meanwhile, the battle for bronze will see Lietkabelis Panevėžys take on Neptūnas Klaipėda. The series will tip off in Klaipėda, with Neptūnas earning home-court advantage thanks to its higher regular-season finish.

This marks the third time these two clubs will meet in a bronze-medal series. Neptūnas came out on top in both previous meetings during the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons. Since then, however, Nenad Čanak's Lietkabelis has become a regular fixture on the podium, winning bronze in every season except 2022, when the club reached the Finals.

This season's head-to-head record promises another thrilling chapter. The teams have met five times so far, with Neptūnas winning three contests and Lietkabelis claiming the other two—including the Citadele KMT bronze-medal game.
