Grant picks up Player of the Week honors

After a slow start to the season, it was finally a good week for Nevezis who celebrated their first win in the Betsafe LKL, while Malcolm Grant earned Player of the Week honors after posting a new season-high in scoring.

The 29-year-old guided the Kedainiai side to a 19-point comeback on the road against Juventus with a 32-point performance on 10-of-14 shooting, while also dishing out 4 assists to his teammates.

Grant collected an overall ranking of 34, which equaled the season record set by Neptunas forward Arnas Butkevicius earlied in the season. His new teammate Rihards Kuksiks also was among the top performers, collecting 14 points and 8 rebounds just 16 minutes of action in his Nevezis debut.

Zanis Peiners of Lietkabelis, Neptunas forward Arnas Butkevicius and Zalgiris center Antanas Kavaliauskas completed the lineup for the Betsafe LKL Top 5 players of the Week.
